SCHOLARSHIP FOR SINGLE PARENTS AVAILABLE!
The Dorrance Maricopa Community Colleges Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to the qualifying students who meet ALL the following:
- Single parents.
- Sole providers for their family.
- Continuing their education after an interruption of one year or longer.
- Demonstrate financial need as exhibited by the FAFSA.
- Applicant must have earned a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
- Applicant must be pursuing an Associates Degree (AA) or approved program.
- Applicant must demonstrate evidence of motivation and potential for higher education.
Scholarship available at South Mountain Community College and is renewable. Award: Up to $4,000 annually, for a maximum of 6 semesters (3 years).
Application Deadline: May 1, by 5:00 p.m.
