Dear STEP Students,
We have a few announcements for this week:
- We have added a workshop on Tuesday, October 26 from 12:15-1:15 called From Stress to Success: Coping and Thriving Under Pressure taught by Tom Kirsch. Tom is one of our most popular instructors. Don’t miss out on this great workshop!
- Thursday, October 28 from 12:15-1:15 the Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities will be here to present a workshop about their National Internship Program. If you are interested in doing an internship, don’t miss out on this important workshop!
- Friday, October 29, the TRiO Office will be closed so that staff can attend the Maricopa Student Success Conference.
- Laura Smith, the STEP Academic Advisor, will be holding late hours every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. This is a great opportunity for those students taking evening classes to connect with our advisor to update check sheets, register for Spring 2010, and apply for graduation. Remember, visiting Laura counts as one Academic Unit toward Grant Aid! Please call 602.305.5676 or stop by the office to schedule an appointment.
