STEP this week 1/18-1/22

Dear STEP Students,

Welcome Back! We have a few events/announcements that we wanted to bring to your attention:

  • Wednesday, January 20 we will have our Spring Kickoff Lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Union Room 100. Please join us to learn about the events we have coming up this semester. “Goodie Bags” will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis. Hope you can stop by! Please RSVP by stopping by the STEP Office or calling 602.305.5676.
  • We mailed an invitation to the Kickoff event to your home address and you should have received an automated phone call as a reminder. If you did not receive the postcard and/or the phone call, please update your contact information with STEP by stopping by the office or emailing me your updated contact information, including address, phone numbers, and email address.
  • Saturday, January 30 from 2-4 p.m. is College Goal Saturday, an event where you can get help filling out your FAFSA. Please try to attend this event if you need help with your FAFSA.
  • If you are planning on transferring for the Fall 2010, now is the time to apply to the University. Please stop by the office or call 602.305.5676 to make an appointment to see Laura, our academic advisor.
  • Calculators & Laptops will be available for check out AFTER the Kickoff Lunch.
  • We will be attending two Broadway shows this semester at ASU Gammage: Mary Poppins February 25 and In the Heights on June 17. Please stop by the STEP office to fill out field trip paperwork to reserve your spot for one or both of these events. Remember, tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Tutoring will be available beginning the week of January 25. We will distribute the new schedule at the Kickoff Lunch.
