STEP this week 12/7-12/11

Hello STEP Students,

We have a few announcements this week:

• We have finals survival kits with some goodies to help you get through finals available to all STEP students who take a moment to complete our on-line survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/B92KZBN. Please note, these kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and supplies are limited. Be sure to complete the survey and stop by to pick up your goodie bag!
• USB Drives are now available for STEP Students! To receive one, you need to meet with Laura to update your check sheet and/or schedule your classes for the Spring semester or provide us with a copy of your schedule for the Spring 2010. You can schedule an appointment with Laura by stopping by the office or calling 602.305.5676.
• STEP will be attending a performance of the Nutcracker on December 17. If you are currently signed up and no longer plan on attending, please let us know so that we can give your spot to a student on the wait list.
• Student Life is sponsoring a canned food and blanket drive through December 22. Items can be dropped off at the Welcome Center, LA Liberal Arts Office or the Student Life Office.
• If you have not yet registered for the Spring semester, please stop by the office, call 602.305.5676, or email me back to set up an appointment with Laura Smith the STEP Advisor to update your check sheet and select your Spring schedule. In our experience, students who see an advisor every semester are much more successful and have a much better chance of graduating on time. Please contact us to make an appointment as soon as possible. If you do not plan on attending SMCC in the Spring 2010, please let me know so I can take you off our email list.
