What's Up with STEP 4/27-5/1

Dear STEP Student,

We have a few announcements this week:

1. Check out our new blog http://www.stepsmcc.blogspot.com/. We will post important information about STEP, campus events, and SCHOLARSHIP opportunities on this site on a weekly basis.

2. Wednesday, April 29 we will have our End of the Year Recognition Ceremony at 12:00 p.m in the Student Union. ALL STEP students are invited to attend the celebration. We will have a guest speaker and lunch will be served. Please RSVP by stopping the office or calling 602.305.5676 ASAP.

3. Have you completed your FAFSA for 2009-2010? Financial Aid (FAFSA) workshops are being held every WEDNESDAY, in TLC225, 1pm.
4. Fall Priority Registration is now available! If you would like assistance selecting your classes, please stop by the office to schedule an appointment to meet with Laura or give us a call at 602.305.5676. If you have already registered, please drop off a copy of your schedule so that we can update our files.

5. We will be attending a performance of STOMP on Thursday, May 7. We will leave at 4:45 p.m. and return to SMCC at 10:30 p.m. If you have signed up and are no longer planning on attending, please let us know ASAP so that we can allow another student to attend. If you are signed up and no-show for this event, you may not be eligible to attend cultural events in the fall 2009. Please send me an email, drop by the office, or call 602.305.5676 if you can no longer attend. We are currently still accepting students for a waitlist for this event. Stop by the office if you are interested.
